In recent years, compound bow manufacturers have pushed the engineering envelop creating ultra-fast and efficient shooting machines. Today’s compounds and crossbows launch arrows well in excess of 300 feet per second. While bow technology has experienced growth by leaps and bounds, broadheads have lagged far behind.

  After thirty some years in the woods with bow in hand, I understand all too well the “need for speed.” Every ethical bowhunter wants to shoot the fastest arrow and deliver the most kinetic energy possible. Throughout all my trial set-ups I always found that I was able to achieve down range speed and deliver impressive kinetic energy; however, these were at the expense of accuracy.

  It was time to revolutionize the broadhead industry. After many discussions, research, and trial-and-error, the Crimson Talon broadhead line was born. The evolutionary result was spin-stabilized flight, called Spin-Tite Airfoil Technology. Crimson Talon brand broadheads spin-stabilize the arrow shaft from the front, completely eliminating wind-planning, giving bowhunters the best flying and most accurate broadhead in the industry.

Combined with this unparalleled accuracy is perhaps the most lethal feature of Crimson Talon brand broadheads, the Spiral Wound Channel. The Spiral Wound Channel is created as the broadhead “screws through” the animal, inflicting a wound that cannot close or clot. No other broadhead in the industry can deliver as lethal a wound.
